Cleaving by Julie Powell

This is the second book by the author of Julie and Julia. This book takes up her life after the publication of the first book but before the movie was made. She's kind of slutty. Cheats on her husband, he cheats back. In the midst of this she is being an apprentice at a butcher shop in upstate New York and it is kind of grisly but interesting reading about the art of butchery. I told my sister not to read this, she would turn into a vegetarian. Me, I wanted a steak.
