The Spire by Richard North Patterson

Psychological thriller. That about sums it up. It is a good book, went fast, liked the characters. His most recent two books before this I really enjoyed. The Eclipse was set in west Africa and actually helps you understand the political issues there and The Exile was set in Israel and gives good insight into the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. Fiction that you can learn from!
