I'm 50, live in Austin, Texas but am a Northern California native and my heart still belongs there. I spend a lot of my time quilting, cooking, reading and working on my house. I've been keeping track for about ten years of all the books that I read. I had been writing comments but life got in the way and I need to start doing that again.

South of Broad by Pat Conroy

Another good Pat Conroy book, I've enjoyed all his books; Prince of Tides, My Losing Season, The Great Santini and Beach Music are the ones I've read so far. He is considered somewhat of a current day icon and his books are enjoyable.
