The Lost Quilter by Jennifer Chiaverini

This is a shout out to my quilting friends. This is the umpteenth in her series of books about The Elm Creek Quilters. I really enjoyed this one which goes back into the historical perspective of life in the 1850's for a slave in the South and her failed attempt at freedom and then her life afterwards. They are always good reads and enjoyable.
