The Paperboy by Pete Dexter

Really good book about a reporter in the 60's who is trying to find out the truth about the murder of a sheriff in Florida in a small town. It's a book written 14 years ago but holds up without any problems. I discovered this author last year and am now on a quest to read everything he has written. The first book I read was from 1988 so 20+ years later it was a great read. It is called Paris Trout and was the national book award winner from 1988. Good author, highly recommend his books.
