The English Major by Jim Harrison

I really enjoyed this book a lot. The story is about a long time farmer in his sixties. whose wife unceremoniously divorces him and he takes a road trip on his own with the plan to visit his son. The characters he meets, you will either like or dislike, but they are well written. The title of the book doesn't sound like anything to do with the character but he is a well read and educated man with an English degree. I am now going to go find other books written by him.
