The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag by Alan Bradley

This is the second book in the Flavia deLuce series by Alan Bradley and it was as much fun to read as his first one "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie". Both books main character is Flavia who is a pre-adolescent girl who has a knack for solving mysteries. Set in post WWII England they are fun and adventuresome but not written for children. Highly recommended!
